Learning the Way

Boy oh boy! Our house has been busy! On Saturday, the Engler clan made their way to our neck of the woods. It was really fun to see everyone, and share our humble home! The kids had lots of fun playing together, although Ascher didn't get much floor time. Immer was holding on to him for dear life! I guess he was afraid that the other babies would rough him up too much. Poor thing! Ascher just sat and watched the other babies safely from his daddies arms. Then, on Monday we had our neighbors children over for the day will their mom ran errands. Dad wasn't home to save him then, so he spent the entire day on the floor playing! Ascher enjoys them, and seemed to have a good time. Thursday, our realtor stopped by to see what we've done. She was really impressed, which was uplifting!

Ascher has been a busy boy! He has learned the art of really really high pitched screaching! I swear, he can now communicate with whales, dolphins, and bats! Immer and I think it's funny, and can't help but laugh, although that is definatley not a noise we wish to encourage. He also loves to stand. Wheter it's playing on his table, in his walker, or jumper. The only thing that seems to realy be growing is his hair! Still no interest in crawling, or walking, but we keep trying.

As for Immer and Lisa, we are working hard. Well, at least Immer is. Good news though, I am officially going back to WES!!! I am very excited for the chance to get out of the house! Right now, it's weekends only. Once Ascher is a little older, and has reached all his milestones, I might consider going a little during the week. Immer is also excited! He now gets to spend weekends alone with his son (yes, I am a little afraid of that comment as well)! Immer is working very hard, and has been coming home rather late, so this would be a great time for them to truly bond and get to know each other.

Well, that seems to be it for this week! We are axiously waiting for wonderful weather again, since that one day last week just wasn't enough!
