Gggrrr! I'm not happy!

Well, we had a wonderful time in NMB! It was great to see everyone, and meet the latest addition to the family! Hopefully Steven will "keep his head down" while away, and only come back with stories. As for the traveling, our flight was delayed quite a bit coming home. Lots of time in the airport, as well as on the plane. We sat on the plane for over an hour on the runway, as well as sat in a holding pattern for 45 minutes over Chicago. All in all, we were delayed for 3 hours. Yes, not too bad if you are flying by yourself. But with an 8 month old who wants to roll, stretch and relax, it wasn't easy. I was happy to give him to Immer once we landed. As well as let out my aggressions with the drive home! But we are sad to leave, but happy to be home. Hopefully it won't take Ascher too long to get back on schedule!

He doesn't like it

The two newest additions to our family, meeting face to face for the first time....Ascher didn't like Mater very much. Everytime the dog would come near him, he would turn away and hide. Mater barked, and Ascher jumped so high and looked so scared. One day they will like each other, just not anytime soon!

Steven and Disha

Yes, these two people have met, and are getting married....can't you tell!

Just Waiting

We had a lot of down time.... which was fine, but these two looked like they needed some entertainment. Or Starbucks!

I guess he likes it

Yes....Amy really was testing her limits with this visit! She had him in a dog cage, tried to cut his hair, fed him lemons, and tried to take him home.

Not funny

The only thing Immer said to me before we left was...."Don't come back with a hair cut!"

It's been a while

Well...things have been going good around here....since the Super Bowl. Actually, I think the entire city of Chicago is still licking their wounds after that one! Let's see, other than that wonderful night, things have been peaceful around here. Last weekend we went to Wisconsin for Nathan's 1st birthday party. As you can see by the photo, they still are not interested in each other. Guess we won't have those wonderful photos like Kevin and I do! Anyway, Ascher has been growing so quickly! He has learned and accomplished so much! He loves to clap, roll over, chew on other fingers, eat a variety of foods, and sit like a big boy. Immer and I are now anxiously awaiting the crawling stage, although we have yet to childproof the house (I know, I know, but it's been snowing and cold out, and Ireally don't want to travel in it. Plus, I'm sure Immer has an input, so I will wait for him). He is definately growing, but I think it's up, not around. His 6 month pants still don't fit around the waist, and the 9 months make him look like an old man! It really is funny! This week Ascher and I will be flying back the NMB to visit my parents, and to say goodbye to Steven. He is going overseas in March, and who knows when he will be returning. Hopefully we will get to spend time with him, and his new fiancee Disha! (unlike last time when she would just wave from the car, and Steven was always gone) Otherwise, things are quite and calm here. We are just waiting for the snow to melt and the summer fun to start. I can't wait to see how the babies will interact now! Ok, enough for now. I will try to post in NMB, but if it's warm, I doubt it!

Mom....When does the real entertainment arrive?

It took him eight months, but I finally think he is bored with me.....

Um...Ascher, those are mine!

I beleive I have created a monster, he wouldn't give them back!
