Tax Time

Well, I'm sure everyone is aware that it's tax season again. Since we own our own business, we have to keep all of our receipts for deductions. I always say I'm going to keep up with it, do it once a month, quarterly, whatever. But I haven't (I've been busy :\). So Ascher decided to help out. He started by just laying on the receipts, then throwing them in the air, followed by running them over with his Diego bike. Eventually, he started picking them up and putting them in the trash. He's such a big help! Luckily for him, and me, these were garbage receipts anyway and we didn't need them!

Ascher Dancing

Here's Ascher dancing with his new toy! It's really funny to watch him dance! His favorite song is "Sexy Back"....it's just really hard to get it on video. He's so camera conscious!

Christie's Shower

Well, it has come and gone, and the next big thing will be the baby! I was too busy hosting and playing games to take any photos, but from what I can tell, everyone had a great time! Christie and Tony got pretty much everything in one party! Thanks again to everyone for making it a huge hit!

Hurricane Amy has come and Gone!

Amy and Mike were in town this past weekend for Christie's Baby Shower. It went quickly, but we got a lot accomplished. Ascher liked having company over, because that meant the air mattress was out. He loves to lay and roll around on that thing. I swear, sometimes he acts just like a little puppy!

While in town, Amy felt the need to purchase Ascher a gift. So she bought him a microphone.

It's a piano, microphone and cat all in one. Lots of fun early in the morning before coffee has been consumed!

Surfing

Ascher loves his table and chairs, but has yet to master using them. He likes to push the chairs around the kitchen, put them on top of the table, or try to stand on them. When we do sit him on the chair, he gets off and pushes the chair away. He has on occastion tried to stand on the table, but at least I'm faster than he his with that and stopped him!

Peek-a-Boo!

Ascher loves to play Peek-a-boo....as well as throw himself on anything fluffy. So here he is, playing the game on our bedding. He loves pillows, and always points them out in his books too. It's really funny to watch his personality grow!

Cheers to the New Year!

Our New year was quite, and simple....Because I was sick. I wasn't feeling very good all day, and then that night I got a really bad fever and couldn't fight it anymore! I spent the next day sleeping and relaxing. All is good now! So now we sit and watch the new Year start up. Hopefully it will be just as good as last year!

He Put it There

Ascher loves his table, but I think he loves the window more! The other day while snowing, Ascher moved his table in front of the window to watch. The table is still there, and everytime I try to move it, he puts it back. What a silly goose!

Christmas 07

We had a very busy Christmas this year. Ascher was really good with all the traveling! We went to Immer's parents house, followed by his cousins on Christmas Eve. We had a really great time seeing everyone. Ascher gots lots of wonderful goodies, including this book on dog!

The next morning, Ascher woke up to find that Santa came! As soon as we put him down, he ran to his new table and started pushing the chairs around the kitchen. He got quite a few wonderful gifts, like clothes and puzzles. He got a special gift from Grandma and Papa, a Quiet Book! Which doesn't work! He screams when playing with it!

Then we headed down South to pend Christmas night at my Grandmas! Before that, we went to my Aunts house for Christmas dinner. We had a really great time seeing everyone there as well! Immer and the other men also had fun! They sat around and took each others blood pressure.

We also got news that our cousin is pregnant! Hopefully, they will know the joy of a boy...but with their track record, it could be a girl!

All in all- we had a really wonderful Christmas. And we would like to Thank EVERYONE who made it so! Your gifts are truly wonderful, and Ascher loves them all!

Stuck

The one downfall that I've found with a tall table is that Ascher fits under it. Which isn't that bad, except that he likes to stick his fingers in the holes. Which, since this is real wood, there are a lot of holes! Now that his hands are getting bigger, they get stuck, quite often! I finally got him stuck on camera!

Neighborhood Christmas!

The weekend before Christmas, we had a great little party with our neighbors. Ascher and Leah had a great time together, and the parents did too! We ate lots of food, played games, and had a little something to drink!
