Ooohhh Doggie!!!

Our neighbor started saying "ooohh Doggie!".... and I said it the other day while cleaning, and Ascher just ran away with it! It's so funny, and says it all the time now. He also has learned to say "Where's the ball?"...but I couldn't get him to say it on camera. I will keep trying though!

He Wants a Cracker

I took this video today, and thought you might like to hear is expansive vocabulary. He now can say momma, daddy, cracker, baby, ball, and whadis (what's this)....or this is what Immer and I can decifer. I am trying to teach him other simple words, such as encyclopedia, hippopatomas, and dinasour. He hasn't quite gotten those down pat yet, but I will be sure to let you know the second he does!

Carrot Chomp

I was making dinner, and was contimplating which veggie to serve. I pulled out some frozen carrots, but decided against them. Well, apparently Ascher still wanted carrots. So I gave him a frozen one to see what he would do. He actually ate some of it! I think it felt really good on his gums (more teeth are coming through). He was really funny with it, and actaully kept chewing on it until it was totally defrosted. I shall remember such moves the next time he's really fussy!

Looking for Leftovers

Apparently, the pizza Immer and I had the night before still enticed Ascher the next morning. I found him trying to pull the pieces out of the trash this morning while I made breakfast. Yum.

Hamming it up

There he is...tongue, ball and all....

The Whole Clan

Ascher did really great in the pool. He was shy until everyone got out of the pool. Then he really started to open up. He was really amusing. He had to have that ball in his hand the entire time. We tried taking them away, but he would keep calling for it and looking around. He was in the pool almost the entire time, which made for lots of sleep the next day.

Ascher went swimming!!

We were honored enough to be invited to a swimming party down South! We went to my Aunt's house to enjoy one the last few days of summer...and we had a great time! The weather was great, the pool warm and the company wasn't too bad either!

What Can I say

I don't know what side of the family to blame this on....

And This is a Tree...

This is Ascher's new coloring station. I simply tape some paper to the side of the cabinet, and just let him go! He has fun for a few minutes, then decides to play with something else.
