Chocolate

Ascher really likes Popsicles, and this time he got a taste of my Chocolate pudding pop. He was very determined to get it, and I was determined not to share. Apparently he won. Ascher has been accomplishing quite a bit this week. He now loves to climb and claw his way on top of you, pulls up using the furniture, and likes to try the stairs. He has also become more vocal, adding more letters to his vocabulary.

Watching from Above

Since Ascher is a little shy, and our neighbors are a little rough, Ascher enjoys watching the boys play from the patio window. He loves looking out, screaming at them, and of course banging on the glass. If the door is open, he likes playing with the dead bugs and dirt stuck in the tracks. It's funny to watch him sit there for 20 minutes watching other people play!

Resting Place

Ascher has now learned to crawl onto the landing. He loves to race over and climb up, then sit there until someone rescues him. Last weekend, Ascher also crawled up 6 stairs by himself. On the second try, he fell, and has been gun shy ever since. This, I believe would be considered a good thing, since we still have yet to put gates up!

Calling Daddy

Ascher LOVES playing with my phone, and has even called a few people.....and hung up. Now he likes to "talk" on the phone. The phone is a great distraction throughout the day.

Let's Ride

This is a bike Ascher got for his birthday, and he really enjoys riding it down the hill on our drive-way. Unfortantely, he took the bike for a ride into the grass a little too quick, fell over, and is now afraid of the bike! But he still enjoys sitting on it, and taking the bike around the block with Leah.

Exactly What You Think!!

Ascher got his first haircut!!! He looks completely different! My mom had the honors of snipping it all off. He looks like a little man now! He definatley won't be called a girl anymore.

Other than chopping hair off...

CHRISTIE GOT MARRIED!!! Her mother and I spent countless hours working every last detail out for this thing! And I must say, I did a pretty good job with everything! I am so glad that it's over....although now I don't have anything to do!

My family came into town for this event, and really enjoyed spending time with Ascher. My sister was up to her same old tricks though.
(he has a cookie in his mouth)
We had a really great 4th! We had a block party and grilled, and I even had some friends from work come and join us! Immer got some really big and loud and illegal fireworks, along with our neighbors. So we had a really great show to watch, but had to beware of bitter old neighbors who enjoy calling the cops on us. Ascher definately did not enjoy the fireworks. He was screaming and crying with every explosion. Immer and I had to hold him together because he was so worked up. So we put him to bed and finished the party later.

Now things are calming down, and we are trying to get back on our regular routine. Immer has been working quite a bit, which means we don't see him very much.
