Opening Fast and Furiously

Ascher was really excited about opening, and went pretty fast. I had to ask him to slow down so I could get photos! This is a set of army cars he saw at Toys R Us. We took a picture of it with Immer's phone and sent it to Santa so he would know exactly what he wanted. It worked!
Santa also brought a few new movies for us to enjoy. He got the Toy Story 3, Muppets Pirate Island, and the new Cars Toons- which is really funny, and what he chooses to watch frequently.

Ascher asked for a bathrobe as well, and he got a really cool shark one with matching slippers! He loves to put it on and play with Legos and read books. Not so big on the slippers, but I'm sure he will grow into them!

Ascher got a Leapster for Christmas from Uncles Amy, Mike, David and Steven. He loves to play it, and it's his go-to toy for long road trips. He loves to play it, but he definitely loves his Tag pen too!

Santa Came! Santa Came!

Santa came- and he brought lots of goodies! Ascher was worried that Santa wouldn't make it to our house because of the alarm system. He made sure that I left the code for him so he could get in without setting the alaram off. So cute.

Ascher was really excited Christmas morning. We made sure to lock the gate upstairs so he couldn't come down without us. He was so into ripping and throwing things, that he really wasn't paying much attention to what was in it!

Santa Ready

Another year has gone, and it's time for Santa again! Ascher worked hard to pick just the right cookies carrots and water for Santa.

Makin' Cookies

Ascher wanted to do something fun with his friends- so we decided to make cookies and invite them over to decorate! Why didn't you stop me?!?! It was fun, but definitely messy! There were three girls and Ascher, throwing sugar, red hots, candy buttons, and all kinds of colored things. They had a great time, but mainly just enjoyed pouring the sugar on the cookies. Without the frosting to hold it on.

Once they were done making a mess, they decided to slide down the stairs. Yeah- sugar high definitely had kicked in!
