8 Days a Week!

Ascher loves the Beetles, and has always loved the song "8 Days a Week". You will occasionally catch him singing it. Well, we had music just randomly shuffling the other day, and it came on! Luckily I was fast enough to catch him in the act singing it! He was more energetic in the beginning, but I think you get the point!

The Treehouse!

Boy, do we love the Treehouse! It's a great place and I tell everyone with children about it! This time, we went with our neighbors, Ms. Kiersten, Gianna and Ethan. Ms. Kiersten is a nanny for Ethan, who is Ascher's age. So they spend a good part of the day outside playing together. And Gianna is her 20 month old daughter. They really have gotten to be great friends. Gianna and Ascher love to talk out the window to each other, talk on the balconies, and make funny faces at each other. She definitely loves Ascher's attention!

Time for a Bike!

Ascher definitely has an opinion, and he is always stating it. So it was funny to watch him ride our neighbor Leah's princess bike. She tried to help him with the pedals and show him how to turn the handles. Now, Leah just learned to ride the bike, and Ascher is a pro at his little trike. It's cute to watch them try to help each other and end up fighting and yelling at each other. They are both stubborn and first born....which makes playtime always exciting for us!

Needless to say, Leah doesn't have to share her bike for much longer. We took a trip to Toy's R Us to pick a bike for Ascher. It's in the crawlspace for his birthday!

Mother's Day

Luckily for us, Mother's Day weekend was on the nice side. We spent the day at Immer's parents house, mowing the lawn and cleaning the fridge. It's always fun for Ascher when Nathan comes for a visit. They spent a good part of the time outside rolling around and wrestling in the grass. Ascher thinks he can handle Nathan (who is about 3 inches taller and 10 lbs heavier). They make great helpers when they want as well. They were in charge of decorating the dessert pizza with fruit. After this shot was taken, they decided to go find bugs and leave me to finish. Oh well, at least I got the photo!

Scooter Time!

As the world knows, scooters are pretty big with kids. Ascher has always tried to ride our neighbors, but I never felt comfortable with him on it since they only had two wheels. So I decided to get one with three wheels and watch him go! He is still a little timid on it (fine by me!), going slowly around the garage and just cruising down the drive-way. He still hasn't quiet mastered the whole, foot pushing while moving motion yet, but I'm sure he'll figure it out one day. The funny thing is, the other neighbors are now fighting to play with his cause it's Buzz and Woody!
