Recently

Now for what's new. Recently, Ascher has not been eating or drinking well. At first, we thought he was allergic to milk. But then, Monday, he was acting very lethargic, and didn't want anything to eat. He then threw up his breakfast. After showering and cleaning the entire bathroom, we went to the ER. He was (obviously) dehydrated....but they weren't sure from what. So they kept him in the hospital overnight to keep pumping him with fluids. Tuesday night, we found out that he had some bacterial infection in his stomach or intestines. How he got it, no clue. They said it can come from water or food. He was released from the hospital on Tuesday night with some medicine.

Wednesday morning I gave him is medicine, and he threw up again. I panicked, and was getting everything ready for another stay at the hospital. Before I went, I called the doctor we saw in the ER. She told me to quit giving the drugs, and he should be fine. So he is now off the medicine and doing better. He defiantly got his appetite back, but is not really interested in liquids. So we are watching him like a hawk, ready at any moment to go back to the Hospital. But he is definatley acting better, and things are looking up.

As for the rest of the week, Immer celebrated is 39th birthday! YEAH!!!

Father's Day

Father's Day was nice and relaxing. Immer went golfing on Saturday, and then we had dinner with his parents on Sunday. Ascher got Immer a great shirt, as well as a new photo! We went to the Picture People and had a photo of Ascher on a bike taken!

Happy Birthday!!

Ascher's Birthday was such a hit! The weather was great, and everyone had a great time. Sorry some of you missed it! We had it in Deer Grove Forest Preserve, and loved it! Ascher had a great time. Although he really didn't like it when we sang to him. He still does not enjoy really loud noises. But he loved eating the cake, and sharing it with mommy and daddy! The theme was monkies...which included a monkey cake,

and an inflateable momkey friend, that made its way all around the party, and even enjoyed some cake!

The cake was really delicious, bannana with cream cheese icing! We all loved it!

Ascher also recieved lots of gifts, that he is still loving to play with!

Mitzi and Nathan also made the drive down from WI just for the party! It was really great to see them! Ascher and Nathan were also dressed alike.

Round and Round

Our neighbor let us borrow her walker, which is really cool! Ascher walks around a table to different stations. He really just likes running around in circles in the kitchen. It's fun to watch him. He also likes it when you chase him. This is one of the greatest inventions! He likes playing music on it, which is actually really great music. It doesn't get on my nerves like some of the other toys he has.

Sammy!

We really are considering a dog for him...he just loves to play with Sammy, and our neighbors dogs too!
