Ug! More snow!

More snow. Just what everyone wants! This time, I was able to convince Ascher to get properly dressed and go play in it. The only real thing we are missing still is snow boots. So he wore his rain boots, and we covered his feet in fleece. Hey, whatever works! Since we live at the end of the driveway, all of the snow is RIGHT THERE. So we had about an 8 foot high pile of it, waiting to be played on. So we borrowed a neighbors sled and played! Ascher just liked pulling the sled around, and wouldn't actually sit on it. Maybe now with the Olympics on, he will change his mind!

The plows were coming through again, so we moved to the front of the house, more snow, less distractions. I tried to teach Ascher how to do a snow angel from the porch, but he didn't quite get it. Instead, he just laid there in the snow, having a hard time getting up. Of course, I stood and watched. From the porch.

After an hour of snow playing, we headed inside for cookies and cocoa. MMMmmm.....so good. And then I proceeded to get the rest of the snow off of clothing and shoes before it melted in my house.

It's Rhyming Time!

Ascher, in case you didn't figure it out on your own, is a real ham. He loves to laugh and goof off and be silly. So it was only a matter of time before he started to rhyme. And boy, does he have fun with it! He comes up with some really random words, and creates even better ones! Of course, he doesn't like to rhyme small words like cat and dog. He picks thinks like clock, chair, and sandwich.
