The weekend before Christmas, my friend Heidi came over to wrap gifts. We had lots of fun in the loft, talking, wrapping, and just catching up. In the process, we came up with paper that wouldn't fit anything. So I put it in the garbage box. Well, that didn't last long! Ascher wanted to wrap, so he took the paper out and just started wrapping random things in the house! He loved giving me (the same) presents and waiting for (my same) reaction! It's really fun to see him get excited about giving things! Hopefully this means he will be a great gift giver!
I tried to start a bird feeder this summer, but the bugs found it. So I was stuck with a rather large bag of bird food. So, I decided to make a winter craft of it! Ascher and I took old banana bread and bagels, covered them with peanut butter, and showered them with seeds. He loved it! Once they were done, we bundled up in many layers and took them outside. He really was not into playing in the snow, or hanging them on the tree. So, I hung them then hurried inside. But Ascher is really loving to watch the birds out of the window!
